Pacific High School | Driver Education

Pacific High School is a California private high school that satisfies the California Education Code requirements for students to obtain a high school diploma or to take additional classes not available from your local high school. Designed for all high school students (freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors) in public and private high schools in Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose, Los Angeles, Long Beach, Orange County, San Diego, Riverside and all other areas of California. Meets the California Education Code Requirements

Math Department:

Basic Math A
9th Grade First Semester

Essential math skills; the numeration system, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and how to use them in daily life situations.

Basic Math B
9th Grade Second Semester

Fundamental skills in fractions, decimals, percentages, measurements and how to use them in daily life.

Application Math A
10th Grade First Semester

Real world mathematical skills. Creative problem solving skills are emphasized.

Integrated Math B
10th Grade Second Semester

Our students learn to analytical thinking while they explore concepts in Statistics, Probability, Algebra and Geometry.

 

Pre Algebra
11th Grade First Semester

This course prepares the students for Algebra A. The emphasis is on sharpening computational skills and then applying these skills to algebra. Solving simple equations and graphing of linear equations are included.

Algebra A
11th Grade Second Semester

Student begin by solving increasingly complex equations. They learn ratios, exponents, rational expressions and equations, polynomials and the use of rational numbers to solve real life problems.

Algebra B
12th Grade First Semester

This course continues to develop the mathematical ability of our students in the areas of graphs, square roots and quadratic equations by focusing on real life situations.

Geometry A
12th Grade Second Semester

This college preparatory course covers the essential introductory components of Geometry. The use of computers and graphing calculators are required. The problems are designed to stress logical reasoning in mathematics.
